| The SP-CHR-12.24V-20A-N4X Outdoor Solar Charge Controller from Larson Electronics provides a fully automatic way to manage and protect batteries connected to solar panels. Designed for 12V/24V battery voltage, the unit features micro-controller digital accuracy and temperature compensation with an external temperature sensor. The solar charge controller is protected by a NEMA 4X rated steel housing and can be installed on walls using mounting tabs. The SP-CHR-12.24V-20A-N4X protects solar-powered systems from voltage overshoot and discharge. This fully automatic unit is compatible with 12V/24V battery voltage and has a 20-amp charging current. Protection comes in the form of temperature compensation with an external temperature sensor. Designed for outdoor locations, this solar controller is protected a NEMA 4X rated steel enclosure. The weather resistant unit can withstand moisture, water, rain, dust, snow, heavy wind, corrosion and external ice formation. Operation: When sunshine is absent, light intensity decreases. The controller will recognize the starting signal after 6 minutes and the load will start to work according to the set parameter. When there is sunshine, light intensity rises and the controller recognizes the close signal after 6 minutes and the load will stop working. NOTE: When using this smart controller, it is important to note that you must first connect with the battery, then the solar panel. Mounting: Integrated wall mounting brackets make installation fast and easy. Because of the smaller overall footprint, heavy machinery is rarely needed for mounting and installation. |
