| The ETX-ISX-1P-480V-5KVA-120V from Larson Electronics is an explosion proof transformer for use in hazardous locations. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, the ETX-ISX-1P-480V-5KVA-120V provides increased reliability, protection against critical equipment failures and an extra level of protection by isolating the power source from the connected device. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Transformer Features: With a transformer rating of 5 kVA, the ETX-ISX-1P-480V-5KVA-120V is a single phase unit with a primary voltage of 480 V AC. It also provides a secondary voltage of 120 V. The transformer contains a two-winding primary and secondary configuration and reverse connectables, as well as electrostatically shielded components and wire leads connection. Featuring robust construction, the enclosure is made out of cast aluminum. The explosion proof transformer comes with a NEMA 4X rating, which offers watertight protection and corrosion resistance. The ETX-ISX-1P-480V-5KVA-120V may be mounted on compatible surfaces in Class I and Class II environments. This transformer provides owners with significant energy savings as well as offering environmental benefits. Higher efficiency not only extends the life of the transformer, but also turn into cost savings for owners in the form of lower energy bills and decreased cost of ownership. Hubs: This explosion proof unit contains a total of two, 3/4" NPT hubs. One, 3/4" NPT hub is located on the north side and one, 3/4" NPT hub can be found on the south side. Applications: Chemical processing plants, oil refineries, wastewater facilities and other classified industrial facilities that adheres to the ratings of this unit.
