6D’s and 6E’s Mixed Loose Vintage Vacuum Tubes

6D’s and 6E’s vintage vacuum tubes, also known as electron tubes or thermionic valves. These devices were fundamental components in early electronics before the advent of semiconductor devices.
Vacuum tubes control the flow of electric current in a high vacuum between electrodes within a sealed glass or metal envelope.
They were historically used in computers, radios, and televisions, and function by creating a vacuum inside the tube to insulate against electric currents.
Vacuum tubes can amplify signals and convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC).
While largely replaced by transistors, they are still used today in high-power applications like radar, as well as in high-end audio and guitar amplifiers for their unique sonic qualities.
