This set contains 6 high-quality acrylic paints specially designed for painting U.S. armored vehicles during World War II, including well-known tanks such as the M3 and M5 Stuart, and M24 Chaffee light tanks, the M22 Locust airborne light tank, the M3 Lee and M4 Sherman medium tanks, and the M26 Pershing heavy tank; self-propelled artillery such as the M7 Priest, Howitzer motor carriage M8 and M12 and M40 gun motor carriages; tank destroyers like the M18 Hellcat, M10 and M36; M3 and M8 Greyhound armored cars; and M3 half-tracks, among many others.
The set includes the U.S. Olive Drab base vehicle color, gun metal for machine guns and tools, and a dark grey tone for the rubber bands of the roadwheels, as well as a washable dust and chipping tones to create weathering effects. This set solves the problems of choosing the correct colors for your models, saving valuable time.
ATOM paints have a water-based formula that offers all the advantages of lacquer and is optimized for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush. The features of this paint include self-levelling capability, fast drying, and outstanding covering power which makes them unique to the market. Additionally, they are extremely durable, allowing for the use of acrylics, lacquers, enamels, or more aggressive products such as decal solutions once dry. They come in a new transparent 20 ml bottle with a convenient vertical dropper cap that can be opened and closed with one hand. This paint is non-toxic and odorless. These paints can be applied directly from the bottle or thinned with ATOM-20500/20510/20520 ATOM Thinner and Cleaner Thinner, or ATOM-20501/20511/20521 ATOM Thinner and Cleaner with Retarder.
