Visible Luminescent Paints are a common choice for UV Reactive visual effects in various industries such as Dark Ride Designers/Builders, Haunt Attraction Designers/Builders, and other entertainment sectors that incorporate UV Blacklight effects like TV and Motion Picture Studios, Theatrical Productions, Laser Tag Arenas, Blacklight Bowling, Mini-Golf, Night Clubs, and more.

Enhanced Visibility and Blacklight Activation: Unmatched Luminescent Properties
Featuring highly saturated pigmentation visible from daylight to backlight. It is advised to use a 365nm UV “Blacklight” Source for optimal results. Applying the paint under a UV Blacklight source and following proper UV application techniques ensures the desired fluorescent visual effects are achieved.

Surface Preparation
Before painting, ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt, oil, grease, and any other impurities. Prime the clean, dry surface with a "white" acrylic, water-based primer and allow it to dry completely. Adequate ventilation is essential during the painting process. Keep in mind that lower temperatures and higher humidity levels can prolong the drying and curing times of primers and paints.

Application Conditions
To maintain the vibrancy of the fluorescent pigments, avoid direct sunlight exposure as they may fade in approximately three months or less. The recommended application temperature ranges from 54°F/12°C to 86°F/30°C.

Application
DarkFX Fluorescent Pigments can be applied by brushing, rolling, or spraying on any paintable interior surface with proper priming. The high color concentration allows for blending and dilution using distilled water, but avoid over dilution as it may reduce adhesion. When spraying, use a suitable, NIOSH approved respirator as per the manufacturer's instructions.
