Black Jack® 6125-9-30 Fibered Roof & Foundation Coating, 4.75 Gallon

Black Jack® Roof & Foundation Coating is a liquid applied, brushable, asphalt-based coating designed to seal and protect worn roof surfaces. This coating can also be used to damp-proof and protect exterior foundation walls.

What it does:

• Applied across the entire roof surface, it seals to provide a layer of weatherproofing protection.

What is needed to complete the job?

• Roof patch for damaged areas, a multipurpose brush or paint roller and gloves.

Prep the area:

• Surfaces must be clean, free of surface rust and loose material.

How to apply:

• Use brush or roller to spread across surface of roof.

How much do i need?

• Covers approximately 50 sq. ft. per gallon.

Do's and don'ts:

• Do apply in exterior applications only. Do wear protective clothing. Don't apply to wet surfaces. Do not use in epdm, hypalon or PVC surfaces. Do not use on single ply or synthetic roofs. If there is any question regarding compatibility, test a small section first.

For best results:

• Apply on a clear warm day with no rain expected for 24 hours. In colder weather (50°F and below), product should be stored in heated room (70° to 80°F.) at least 24 hours prior to application to promote ease of application. Mixing may be required to ensure product uniformity. Do not apply direct heat/flames or thin. Apply when surface temperatures are between 50° and 120°F. Product formulated to be used year round. Allow product to cure a minimum of 30 - 60 days prior to application of reflective coating.

How to clean-up:

• Clean tools or spills with paint thinner or mineral spirits.
