The Neutrik opticalCON DRAGONFLY brings expanded beam technology to the broadcast and AVL industry to deliver a more robust system that’s easier to clean and sure to deliver less issues due to dirt and dust. This adapter carries both power and fiber making it compatible with SMPTE 311 systems.

This cable features an opticalCON DUO to DRAGONFLY female to latch into an existing DRAGONFLY cable or patch into a NO2MW-XP DRAGONFLY chassis connector. The Neutrik DRAGONFLY system is incredibly easy to maintain when compared to standard SMPTE hybrid cables. At the heart of the opticalCON DRAGONFLY system is the supper innovative XB32 lens system. It is 322 times bigger than typical physical contact surfaces found on single mode fiber endfaces. This larger lens allows the XB32 system to transmit UHD 4K and 8K signals with very low loss while providing the best immunity in a SMPTE system when it comes dirt and dust protection.
