Conceived as an ode to those who have spilled their blood for political ideologies that failed them and countries that were never their homes, it's five techno hybrids show the Brooklyn-based Miami-expat shooting down unrestrained grooves, rusty samples, and saturated vocals while excavating lush sound-exploration tinged by local folklore and grievous metallic tones. It's conceptually grounded in the individual's inevitable assimilation into modern industrial society and the idea that resistance to and seduction of these systems can trap one in a push-and-pull-limbo from which the only escapes are rage or submission.
