The aluminum TR605MONO Traverse Pro Monopod with Folding Base from Davis & Sanford has a load capacity of 12 lb and 5 sections, secured by flip-locks, that extend to 60" while folding down to 22.75".
The monopod has a base with 3 rubber-edged feet with a diameter of 10" that are attached to the monopod via a locking ball head. The feet can be removed from the TR605MONO if desired and used as a low angle tripod for nature or macro work. Convenience features include a wrist strap, foam-cushioning on the top section, and a combination 1/4"-20 / 3/8"-16 threaded screw to mount tripod heads or cameras.
