The DW-MAX SUR's woofers and tweeters fire in different directions to create immersive, wraparound sound effects.

Dual driver arrays for immersive sound

The DW-MAX SUR uses two 5-1/4" mineral-filled poly woofers for tight bass and articulate midrange, and two 1" aluminum oxide dome tweeters for clear, defined highs. The woofers and tweeters are mounted off-axis from each other — firing at different angles to generate dramatic, room-filling surround effects.

A three-position level switch lets you cut or boost the highs to best suit your room's acoustics.

Tool-free mounting for a smooth installation

Def Tech designed a simple two-piece mounting system with pivoting "dog" arms that makes speaker installation simple. And the paintable, low-profile magnetic grille allows the DW-MAX SUR to virtually vanish within your room.
