The EKX-12P from Electro-Voice is a 12", 2-way powered loudspeaker with an impressive 1500W of Class D power, QuickSmart DSP, gig-friendly menu navigation and control, and much more. A high-efficiency, 1500W Class D power amp delivers up to 132dB peak SPL via high-sensitivity transducers designed and engineered by Electro-Voice. The patented Signal Synchronized Transducers waveguide design provides precise and consistent coverage, while a variable-speed fan controlled by multiple onboard sensors delivers intelligent thermal management, ensuring superior performance and reliability regardless of environmental conditions. The EKX-12P is lightweight and compact but built for the rigors of live use, with a 15mm wood enclosure, double bracing, and a durable EVCoat finish. Eight M10 threaded mounting points, aluminum pole mounts, and all-metal handles round out the rugged, attractive cabinet.
