Get detailed, full, and vivid vocal tone in live stage applications and studio recording with the Electro-Voice RE520 handheld supercardioid condenser vocal microphone. Its supercardioid condenser capsule produces a wide frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz while delivering a high maximum SPL of 150 dB. The supercardioid polar pattern yields optimal acoustic isolation by rejecting sounds entering from the rear and sides of the diaphragm. A selectable 150 Hz high-pass filter allows simple and effective control of low frequencies.

Plosives and wind noise are attenuated by the integrated multi-stage pop filter, and the internal shockmount absorbs vibrations to reduce handling noise. Thanks to its 3-pin XLR output connector and phantom-powered operation, the RE520 is compatible with most mixers, audio interfaces, and mic preamps. It includes a stand clip and a gig bag.

Ideal for clear vocal reproduction in houses of worship, concert venues, studio recording sessions, and more
Designed to deliver a detailed, full-bodied, and vivid sound with warm and clear low end, natural and present midrange, and an open, crisp high end
Supercardioid polar pattern provides excellent acoustic isolation and feedback control
Maximum feedback rejection occurs when a stage monitor is positioned at either 225° or 125° off-axis to the microphone element
Multi-stage pop filter with two layers of dense foam separated by air, resulting in minimization of breath blasts and plosives
Selectable 150 Hz high-pass filter reduces undesirable low-frequency content when engaged
Vibration-absorbing internal shockmount minimizes handling noise
Zinc diecast body with black polyurethane paint and steel wire cloth grille
