Hard covered book with leather which was typical of that era.
The back cover has come off of the book but I still have the cover. The leather on the spine is torn in two places but is still attached. It looks like the book can be repaired. There are no missing pages to the book. A few pages are getting loose from the binding in the center but it is still attached. The book is in good shape considering that the book is 175 years old.
