Mount this power inlet box the exterior of the house or building & run wiring through the wall over to the transfer switch installation allowing the generator cord from the generator to be plugged into the power inlet box. 30A power inlet box works with generators between 5500W & 9000W, is housed in a NEMA 3R, rated aluminum, type 5052. Enclosure includes 30A, 120/240V male inlet in NEMA configuration L14, 30 on bottom. Maintains rain tight rating when cord is connected.
