This slender lightweight ergonomic handpiece is the standard soldering iron for the Ultra Heavy Duty Soldering Station the FX-805. It has a built in "sleep function" and utilizes the new T37 tips. The new T37 Tips use 400 W power giving it a major boost as compared to its predecessor. The FX-8004 is also backwards compatible and can use the T33 tips as well. (Although these tips are only at 300 W)
