Made in the USA The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL from Larson Electronics is a Hazardous Area LED Light Fixture that is designed to provide a thin fixture profile that allows the maximum use of available space. This LED fixture is U.S./Canada approved Class I Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D - Class II Division 2, Groups F and G and designed for paint spray booths and locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present. The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL is offered in 100-277 Volts AC, 50/60 Hz or 11-25 Volts AC/DC voltage configurations and has a max wattage rating of 180W or 30W per lamp. The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL is designed to accept LED lamps. THIS FIXTURE IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR SURFACE MOUNT APPLICATIONS. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS LIGHTING SYSTEM* The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL Explosion Proof fixture is a 4 foot long, 6 lamp, Class I Division 2 hazardous area LED light and ideal for use in paint spray booths and hazardous locations where space for lighting fixtures is limited. This fixture is IP20 ingress protection rated, is designed to be equipped with LED lamps and features an integrated momentary paint spray system cutoff switch that is activated when this fixture's lamp door is opened. Installed lamps are protected by a steel framed, hinged, 3/16" thick glass door that provides direct front access to the two lamps. PLEASE NOTE: The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL light fixture is sold without lamps and is not equipped with a ballast.

The lamp housing is only 2 and 1/4 inches thick, designed for recessed mounting, constructed of 20 Gauge steel and coated with a baked on white enamel finish. This fixture is multi-voltage capable and is approved for use paint spray booths. The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL provides operators in hazardous locations with a reliable and durable, low profile lighting solution that provides added safety through the inclusion of an integral paint spray cutoff switch that shuts down paint spray systems when the fixture is opened. We have eliminated the ballast normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight and creates a slimmer unit profile. There is no ballast in this unit and is designed to be used with LED lamps, both of which result in extreme efficiency and greatly reduced maintenance costs. The solid state design of LED lamps give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibration, extremes in temperature, and a lamp service life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs. NOTE: The integral magnetic cutoff switch included with this fixture is activated when the lamp door is opened. This switch is not intended to directly control light operation and requires the addition of a separate solid state relay which is then used to control actual system operation. The Cutoff Switch acts only as an activator for an external relay and is rated for 10 watts at a maximum of 300V AC. Overloading the switch through improper connection will result in switch failure. It is recommended that a certified electrician make any installations and reviews of relay connections intended to take advantage of this light`s cutoff switch. The HALD-48-6L-LED-NL is offered in 100-277 Volts AC, 50/60Hz or 11-25 Volts AC/DC models. Mounting: This fixture is designed for recessed mounting and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accomodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in paint spray booth enclosures. Once mounted, this ftixture`s glass door frame will extend 3/8" into the spray booth. Applications: Paint spray booths and enclosed spaces where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present.
