His voice is up there with the best and his recorded output of deep soul and funk tracks has made him a legend, but unlike the well documented careers of singers like Bobby Womack, James Carr or Johnny Adams, information on Lee Moses has been more difficult to come by and what information there has been is both complicated and confused, thus he has remained a shadowy cult figure. His amazing music however, speaks volumes. Presented here is a rare single originally released in 1967 on the obscure Lee Johns Records label featuring "My Adorable One" b/w "Diana (From N.Y.C.)." This classic single has been newly remastered and is finally available in the digital domain.
