Description

Pettit EZ Prime High Build Topside White Paint Undercoat

EZ-Prime 6149 is a multipurpose primer designed for use as a base coat whenever the surface to be painted is aged, cracked, checked, pitted, or in any way less than smooth. It can be applied to fiberglass, wood, properly etched metal, and previously painted surfaces. EZ- Prime fills imperfections fast, dries quickly, and is easy to sand. Its high-solids formula has excellent filling and covering properties that produce a smooth, prepared surface often times in just a one-coat application. Not for use below the waterline. EZ-Prime can be tinted to better match the finish enamel so there is not such a striking contrast between the two colors.

Features:

  • Versatile primer that easily hides imperfections for a smoother finish surface
  • Easy one-art application cuts down on costs and labor
  • High filling, fast covering formula cuts down on number of coats needed
  • Use on rough, weathered, aged, cracked or pitted surfaces
  • Easily sanded, this product will smooth out imperfections
  • When using on bare wood, seal with 2018 EZ Wood Sealer to provide water resistance and dry rot protection
  • Not for use below the waterline
  • Covers 400ft. per gallon
  • Apply any Pettit, Z*Spar or Shipendec enamel as a topcoat

Associated Products:

  • Satin Additive 9080 - will produce a semi-gloss to semi-flat finish often desired for non-glare deck surfaces and interiors.
  • Non Skid Additive 9900 - creates a non slip surface.
  • Use 120 Thinner for brushing, rolling and clean-up. Use 121 Thinner for spraying.
