Scythe Quiet Drive 2.5 sets the first task to get rid of the noise and vibration of the hard drive. This is a fully enclosed device developed by Japanese experts. It is designed to completely isolate the hard drive from the outside world with several steps of protection against noise and vibration.
The hard disk is covered by two structures that are interconnected by thermal pads. Any vibrations from the internal structure are suppressed by specially laid rubber. According to the ?Matryoshka? principle, Scythe Quiet Drive 2.5 can be put into a regular Scythe Quiet Drive (for 3.5 ?hard drives), thereby increasing the degree of impact of vibration absorption and sound insulation. Quiet Drive 2.5 assembled in this way can also be mounted in a free compartment of 5.25 ?size.
