The Simpson Strong-Tie PC4Z Post Cap is designed with the post and beam flanges in-line so that the PC4Z center post cap can accommodate several 4x post sizes as well as double 2x4 studs. The PC4Z now uses easier-to-install 10d common nails saving you both time and labor. An alternate choice of fasteners is Strong-Drive® #9x1 1/2" SD Connector screws. Zmax finish is standard to meet exposure conditions in many environments.
