SmallRig L-Bracket for Canon EOS R5 Mark II

The SmallRig L-Bracket Mount Plate for Canon EOS R5 Mark II 4983 is designed to assist in quickly switching between landscape and portrait orientations while enhancing the grip of the camera body. The L-shape mount plate firmly secures to the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides to prevent deviation and features built-in silicone pads to protect the camera from scratches.

In vertical shooting scenarios, the included locating block with a cold shoe mount stabilizes the center of the frame, preventing image displacement due to side panel deformation. This locating block can accommodate various cold shoe accessories such as microphones (ID 3487), video lights (ID 3286B), transmitters, and flashes, enabling lightweight photography or videography.

The side panel can extend by 22.5mm / 0.9in, facilitating vertical shooting cable management, and adjust front and back by 7.8mm / 0.3in without obstructing the camera's side HDMI, microphone, and other interfaces.

The design of the side panel allows the screen to rotate approximately 100° front and back. Both the baseplate and side panel do not obstruct the camera's button interfaces, such as the battery compartment, card slot, or the use of angled cables.

The mount plate features multiple expansion interfaces including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, QD interface, cold shoe mounts, and strap slots, allowing for attaching such accessories as a QD shoulder strap (ID 4118), microphone (ID 3468), tripods (ID 3989, 4353) catering to diverse shooting scenarios.

The Arca-Swiss quick-release baseplate allows for direct mounting on Arca-type tripods (ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, enabling swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. Moreover, the cage incorporates a magnetic dual head wrench at the bottom for easy assembly and disassembly.

The cage comes with a durable scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H and an IK03 impact resistance test rating.
