| The Larson Electronics IND-VMS-AB-48-1L-UVC-WR-12VDC-10C is a UV Sanitation Light which can disinfect 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores inside vehicles, rental fleets, and more. This unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm) and comes equipped with a 40-watt UV fluorescent lamp. The UV system has 10' of SOOW cord with an auto auxiliary plug and adjustable nylon straps for mounting inside vehicles. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores, and bacteria. * The IND-VMS-AB-48-1L-UVC-WR-12VDC-10C is a powerful sanitation solution for vehicles, fleets, and car dealerships. Equipped with a 40-watt UV fluorescent lamp, this system offers 14.3 watts of UV output within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). The light has an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emits a flood beam pattern. Compatible with 12 V DC, this UV system caters to the interior of vehicles with 180 degrees of coverage. A wireless remote control allows operators to activate and deactivate the unit outside of the vehicle after temporary installation. The slim-profile lamp measures 50" wide (we offer different sizes, including 36", for small or large vehicles). This unit is made out of 22 gauge steel with a high reflectance baked white enamel finish. It is equipped with a wire guard to reduce the risk of lamp breakage during use. With a recommended 5-10 minute exposure time for viruses, multiple lights can be purchased to sanitize several vehicles simultaneously. Operators may also move the UV light around after exposure time to disinfect different sections of the vehicle. The UV light can disinfect over 99% of bacteria, viruses, mold, and spores. Wiring/Plug: This unit is equipped with 10 feet of chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an auto auxiliary plug for connection to cigarette outlets inside vehicles. Mount: The IND-VMS-AB-48-1L-UVC-WR-12VDC-10C has heavy-duty adjustable nylon straps at both ends, which can be used to secure the lamp inside the vehicle. The straps can be wrapped around handles and door frames, as well as passed through the door (with the door closed on the strap for mounting). Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
